Tamron 90mm 2.5 SP
Extremely windy outside, so bad the plants were bouncing left and right off the ground. I felt like I was trying to catch the bugs in focus while they rode on a speeding gondola..

Either way I did come away with some real nice shots, not the best but I got too frustrated with the wind so called it a day

these have no pp by the way, just the tamron 90 sp 2.5 with the 90 sp extension tube on IST of course 6mp shot in jpeg, no flash used

I want to comment on the size of this last guy. The entire flower was the size of my thumb, this is the very insides of it, and this guy was about the size of the lead tip on a newly sharpened pencil.

while I realize the last one isnt very good, just give you an idea of the magnification I can get with this lens. Although when the plants are slamming around, its extremely hard to get a clean shot at this magnification. Next time hopefully I will do better, as there is obvious motion blur and missed focus in many of these shots.

Nonetheless, hope you enjoy and this gives you an idea of what this lens is capable of for those of you who said you had it on your list.

That 90 2.5 is a superb lens, congratulations!!!, and was on my short list when I found my Viv 105 2.5. Your photos look great, especially considering the motion. Enjoy and look forward to more.

Looks like a really fine lens in some really capable hands! Especially impressed with the color rendition - it's so hard to get Chicory blooms to come out the correct color, and yours look just right. Great insect shots too!!

Very well done, I know what you're putting up with in the wind!
Its bad enough when it isn't blowing.

If that is what you get with a lot of wind,

Great series.
