Default LCD screen protector.

I thought I saw a glass LCD screen protector somewhere. Has anyone else seen this?

yes there is a schott glass one made by giottos. They are super scratch resistance. But if you have a swivel lcd. it will not work properly.

You just stick it on and leave it. It adds a little bit of a bulge to the lcd.

I have the Schott glass on my Kx. It is bomber protection, but it picks up dust and smudges like crazy. I'm constantly cleaning it.

I use an excellent Chinese glass one (GGS). Cost $5 and works a charm. Damaged one the other day - peel it off (they are quite solid) and pop a new one on.

I just use the stick on film, not much protection from impact but keeps the scratches off. Where can one get the glass models?

I put an ACMAXX one on my K20 about a year ago. I love it. The only thing I've noticed is this summer when it was humid, it developed a spot in the center where the protector seems to be touching the LCD. Just a small spot, though. There is also a protector for the top LCD I just haven't put it on yet. Need to find that!

It's not made of glass, but it's definitely protective. http://www.acmaxx.net/products_acmaxx.html Although, I think I bought mine on ebay. Ran about $12.
