Default Some Black ones...

I don't get excited over this vintage of Cadillac but, I can appreciate the workmanship and quality of these vehicles.
1941 rag-top

1947 Caddy, can you believe the chrome on this baby?

And talk about wide whitewalls!

Now here's a car I can get excited over. 1929 Pierce Arrow

I got to see my first Cord when I was in my early 20's. I was impressed then and I'm still impressed when ever I see one.

More to come tomorrow.

I never saw (on the road) most of the cars you have been posting with such great photos, but I do remember seeing Cords tooling around town when I was a kid - so different that the memory sticks! I also remember riding in an old Packard limo owned by an aged family friend. And a boyhood chum's father had a sedan with a knob on the dash to pull for freewheeling - probably too dangerous a feature to be used. But these were all so long ago I don't like to be reminded of them . . . .

Pen, The Packard limo would sure be a wonderful experience!
Yeah, there were a lot of things you could get away with way back when...
Remember the knobs on the steering wheel that you could grab and spin the wheel quickly with one hand? I thought they were cool and wanted one on my car when I first got one, then I found out they outlawed them for safety reasons.
