Default Nearly a half a year and still enjoying my K7

Hi all!

It has been almost 6 months since I purchased my Pentax K-7. I am still enjoying it, and learning more of how to use it (and Photoshop Elements). The following photo is the trail that goes around this large lake, which is about a two walk. This is without any polarizing filter, the sun broke through the clouds and haze. My goal was to learn how to take pictures of trees. Anyway, it is a lovely walk, and I enjoy taking my camera along.

That long eh ? Boy time has gone by quickly. I recall when you were anticipating getting the camera.

You have put it to great use....I enjoy your pictures that you post.

BTW I like the picture in this thread...I can't get over how similar the scenery is to the Whiteshell Provincial Park which is a Canadian Shield Park in the Canadian province I live in.

Thanks Les! Yeah many parts of Finland look like some parts of Canada and in the USA, Upper Michigan and the state of Maine. Thanks again. Ned

But it's very different than California. Really love the picture, wish I were there, walking beside a lake, instead of being surrounded by concrete...

Thanks Harriet! Would you believe that Finland has these "nature" paths all throughout the country... they really are into getting people to appreciate nature.

I did the photo over, using a RAW version. I did some straightening... and all. Thanks again. Ned

So glad you are still enjoying the camera, and still sharing your great photos here. That second version of the photo is especially fine - very inviting composition, and great color!

Thanks guys! By the way, the second photo was using a RAW. Big difference in my opinion. Thanks again. Ned

Yes, the second version is very nice, better than the first. I still would love to be there!

Great photo Ned. I've had my K20 for almost a year and a half, and I haven't yet learned how to use all its features.
