I just got delivery tonight of a studio lighting kit I got off e-Bay so, I'm hoping to catch up with you one day.

Hey GW, which studio light kit did you buy?

Hey Eddy
I got an LS Kit. they are fairly cheap but, good to start out with.
this is the same kit I got, only I got one in almost new condition for a lot less money.

I also picked up a Britek PC200 real cheap and I have a couple home built heads I made for just a few dollars. I also got a 20.5ft JLS background support with air dampened stands and a 10X24 muslin drop.

Keep up the good work, you're my inspiration!

Wow! Never thought I'd be anyones inspiration for anything.

You've got a good kit to start with. You'll have to let me know if you find that 10x24 backdrop to be a bit cumbersome. I had a 10 x 20 and it was a handful to use.

You've got one serious advantage over me. You've got a Drop Dead Gorgeous Daughter with whom to work.

Be looking forward to your first posts.

Remember this. . . . . I have a lot of luck and not a lot of skill.

I know absolutely nothing about studio lighting, so I'm just sitting here in awe, wondering how you did that!

Wow!, thank you very much. 8 months ago, I knew nothing about studio lighting either. I've had an inordinate amount of beginners luck.

Eddy,
I've always said, " Sometimes its better to be lucky than good"
But, all kidding aside, (and I not patronizing) the quality of your work has improved steadily and I believe that's called "applied skill", more than it is "Luck." I'm not implying you're an expert or a pro at this point but, my guess is, at the rate you're going you will continue to grow to that extent in a short time. Keep up the good work!
I appreciate the complement about my daughter. Right now though, I can't take advantage of her as a model because she lives in Southern California. But, as soon as she's finished with collage she plans on coming back to Florida so, you bet I'll be doing some practice with her.
