Default Blackpool by tripod - second series

The really nice part about the August switch on is that the Promenade is closed for that evening to motorised traffic. So it's bicycles only (apart from 2 Sinclair C5s).
The first 2 photos are looking along North Promenade towards Blackpool Tower and the light trails are those made by bikes. The EXIF info is:
#1 F20, 8 seconds, 55mm
#2 F32, 25 seconds, 55mm

The final shot was just one of those lucky breaks. I had finished photographing and was just outside the hotel. Luckily the camera was still attached to the tripod. So when I heard a siren and looked along the road to see an emergency vehicle heading in my direction, I had just enough time to open the tripod, point the camera and click - and use a 20 second expoasure at F32, 55mm. Personally, I love this photo.

Yes, that last one is great. What good luck that you still had the camera mounted to the tripod!

Very interesting light show, and very well-captured!

Which tripod are you using?

Very cool last shot - it sure helps to be lucky. I like the first two also, but the last one is exceptional.
