As Mtngal said that top lcd screen is not really a requirement anymore, the Kx, Kr, K7, K5 all have the possibility to review the settings on the back display, and ... although I have been using that for 2 weeks I would want that system a lot more than the top lcd.

I've gone from the K10D to Km to Kx. The Kx is way faster, better, more versatile and has incredible high ISO. The two lens kit for under $500 is a steal. I am intrigued by the high ISO of the K5, but the Kx is just so good I wonder if I really need it. Do I want it? DUH!
