Default Mountain Dawn

Went several mornings down to the lake to capture the sun rising on Mount Shasta. Finally go this one. Kx Tamron 18-250.

If I were ever as fortunate as you to capture such a wonderful image, I would print it at 30' x 40" frame it, and find a prominent wall in the house for it to reside on...

A wonderful photo.....

Your patience and persistence were rewarded. A beautiful scene. Very nicely captured. Must have been a cool morning, with the mist rising from the water. Really like the patches of morning light on the mountain and forest.

Very nice composition. I'm interested to know what kind of post processing (if any) you did.

Thanks everyone. Living where I do gives me these kinds of opportunities. I processed to bring out the shadows, especially around the trees at the lake edge and to get the amount of light correct. Camera just don't capture what the eye can see in scenes like these.
