Default Some November views

Been a busy week with park activities, bicycle repairs, and LOTS of nature education with the school children. But still some time to watch signs of the passing season...

Hills are mostly leafless now, and fields are rich with ripe seeds...

Although most of the bright leaves are down and fading, there is still some gold in the beeches, and some fine red in the oaks.

Plenty of activity along the waterways these days - bright sun keeps the birds and turtles active!

And the sunny thickets are alive with "critters" too!

These cool, damp autumn days are great for wandering East Tennessee hills. Hope you enjoyed this little walk, and thanks for any commens & critique!

I really love the first shot in this series! But as usual all of them are good.

Love the misty view across the lake shot but thought it needed some extra PP ... until I downloaded it and found it looked much different when opened up on my Mac (see below).
