Harriet - Gentry Creek is indeed a lovely spot, and not very well known. And no aches or pains from a little stroll like that! (Just wet boots).

PS - was looking through some old files and found a photo from the last time I visited Gentry Creek. It had been a while - January '09! This was NOT taken with Pentax (canon powershot s5), but thought you might like to see a "cooler" view of the falls:

Oooh - very pretty! We don't have any waterfalls around here so I rarely get to see one ice-covered like this. In fact, we don't have much water anywhere around here.
