Default A couple of this evenings sun going down

I went out to the mailbox this evening later than normal and as I headed back I noticed how the trees in the backyard silhouetted nicely against the sky and sun going down. So I went and grabbed my camera. Here's what I came back with. A little different PP in the last one.

GW...nice lighting. but a bit too much clutter for my liking.

I like them. I've tried to shoot beautiful skies with foreground trees in silhouette like this but always have run into DOF problems. These are nicely done.

Thank you for the feedback, guys.
Jelpee, I agree. Sometimes I forget to mention the reason behind sharing some of my photos. I post a lot of times, just before singing off for the night and having trouble keeping my eyes open... don't realize I omitted that info. Anyway, these were just quick snaps because I thought the lighting was cool. Also I meant to comment on the last one, I thought it was kind of cool to pull the yellow out of the sky and have it show the blue in its place. How did it know to do that?!

I am convinced the answer is MAGIC!!!

It's funny, I have quite a few of this kind of shot; sun going down (and out of shot) and interesting sky. Then, when I view them later, I'm never sure if I like the finished article. I even change my mind from yes to no and back again when I look at them. Oh well ...

LOL, yeah, magic works for me, Keith.
I know just what you mean about going back and forth about whether or not I like a particular photo. And then there are those you keep just because they mean something to you and really aren't intended for sharing with others but, you keep them anyway.

Sorry GW but they are a bit to cluttered for my taste, however I love that yellow color.

Thanks Ronny,
I know, I thought about getting my 8ft step ladder and my chainsaw to do a little de-cluttering but figured by the time I did that... the sun would be gone!

Very interesting comparison of the results of different PP. I've done some similar things by accident, but never sure how it was accomplished.

PS - let me know when you want to borrow my chainsaw...
