Some cool shots, the first one is my fav, it almost looks like a giant leaf on gras.

Wonderful, as usual. I think of the mushrooms I like the third one. I would like the second one, but the white spot in the upper right hand corner is distracting to me.

I really like the leaves in the spring. Beautiful. And, prefer the second of the trees one.

Looking forward to what you can see in the spring when you go back.

Mole watch out for those Chipmunks after they eat those fermented grapes. It goes to theire heads and they think they're beavers. LOL

Another nice hike with Mole. More lovely pictures by the master.

It's awesome how you take something so common we hardly notice and make it into a work of art.
Good job!

Harriet - Thanks for your kind words and helpful feedback!

Les - Thanks so much. My new (used) tripod was a big help on several of these shots. Yes, all taken with the K-M/K2000 - it may be "bottom of the line" for pentax, but it's my "top of the line" camera now!

Ronny - Glad you liked them! I too was struck by the detail and contrasts in that leaf on the moss...

Patty - So glad you enjoyed these! That white spot (a small fungus growth on the tree) is a bit distracting - might try cloning it out...

Lou - Thanks for the warning! It's a good thing I don't have a wooden leg!!

Eric - Most of these were taken with the Pentax A 35-105 lens, which seems to have some excellent optical characteristics. It stays quite sharp even down to F22, which also allows lots of DOF.

GW - You are too kind! It definitely wasn't me that made it into a work of art - rather the Master Designer! But isn't it true how much that we take for granted is full of beauty, if we just take time to look for it...

Mole...you're welcome. I've got a KM/K2000. I'm in agreement with you...this camera body does not give anything up, when it comes to it's effective abilities as a DSLR.

I regard it as one of those great...unknown....bargains in the DSLR world.
