Pen, looks like a great setup, got the same tripod (or look alike)



only it's only stable when on a hard surface, so the forest floor is not included.

Hi Ronny,
I use the Ultrapod-2 ... your model looks to be of similar construction, the UP2 is made of fibre reinforced nylon, seems very light and strong, and gives excellent support even with a long zoom lens.

Thanks for the reminder - I have one of those ultrapods somewhere - will have to dig it out & give it a try!
