Default Several Thanksgiving Hikes

Was so pleased that several of my young'uns were able to come home for Thanksgiving, and all wanted to go hiking (of course). So here are some scenes from various hikes we enjoyed together last week.

Late autumn has been damper than usual for East Tennessee (usually our driest season). This makes for some fine fog-gemmed plants...

All the wonderful water encouraged us to go hike up Little Stony Creek in nearby Dungannon Virginia. We didn't get as far as planned, because there were a lot of trees down, slowing our hike considerably. But we did get to enjoy the full-flowing creek...

Thanksgiving is over, the house is quiet again, and winter is approaching... But we can enjoy the memories of the season that's fading, and anticipate new discoveries in the coming season!

Hope you enjoyed a few glimpses of our wanderings. Thanks for any comments, suggestions & critique!
