I have been tempted by other gear as well, I have used a D300 Nikon and a Canon 20D, both were impressive cameras. I have Minolta Maxxum lenses so a Sony Alpha is still a possibility but... my limitations are far greater than the Pentax camera's so I will not be going anywhere. If I could get a Nikon with a 70-200mm f2.8 I would get more action shots but the cost for me far outweighs the benefit.

I totally understand your decision but as I write this there are 8 members on-line in the Nikon forum and 33 in this Pentax forum so stick around here since this is where the action is.

Sorry to hear you are leaving the forum but understand your reason for doing so.

Cameras don't make good photographers, people do. Whatever you shoot with I know your pictures will be awesome!

Glad to hear you will still be hanging around with us and chiming in here from time to time.
