Okay, it isn't very original, I did something similar with a *istDL and the FA 50mm f1.4 a couple of years ago but this time it is a K20D and the FA 35mm f2.0 AL !!

Worth a shot, has colour Mostly warm tones but for a few blue lights..

I was taking some pictures of the flame and then blew it out and took this just for fun and liked it better than the flame. So here it is! Hope you like it, too! DL with the kit lens and some close up filters with tripod.

Time is getting short and I really wanted to find something special but , sofar this is about as close as I have been able to get, not really what i was after but, it will have to do for now. this was one of those shots that I'd call life threatening. I was doing 65mph down the interstate with no way to pull off and stop, so my stepsoh hopped in the back seat and handed me camera, he held wheel while I fired away. and I lost the good light very rapidly ...

Ira - that's some nice bokeh. And I'm delighted that the K20 plays nicely with the FA 35 - the bokeh really is very nice.

Glenn - I'd never guess that's what your subject is, this is cool. Would never have thought of doing something like this, something new to think about.

GW - glad you survived taking this picture. It's well worth the effort, it definitely fits the topic.

Harriet, I am still on the steep part of the learning curve with the K20D but it is similar enough to the K10 to make it manageable.

Just a quick question for anyone, is there any practical difference between PEF and DNG other than the compatibility? I noticed you used DNG Harriet, I always used PEF (just because... okay so I didn't really have a reason).

Thanks for the comment.

This is my new entry - from all the shots I took at the lake this is my personal favourite - actually just because of the rich colour so hope it fits the Challenge theme.
