Default Did I make a good choice?

Well, after a lot of thinking I just bought my third lens, this is a Ricoh Rikenon 50mm F/2.0 with PK mount. No Idea if it fits, but I hope it doesn't have that infamous Ricoh pin i've been reading about...

But well, i needed a low light indoor lens and this came in very cheap on ebay (8 + shipping)
so, what do you guys think, will I be happy with it's performance? I will mostly use it to photograph my kids and such...

DON'T put it on your camera until you've researched it on this forum (there are a few threads with the info on how to easily and quickly REMOVE the pin - if this lense has it) !

Not only one model, but not all Ricoh lenses. Take a photo of the bayonet end and publish it here WE WANT IT IN LESS THAN TWO MINUTES

If it does, do not try to attach the lens or it will get stuck. The good news is, the pin is very easy to remove (even I could do it on a Sigma 28mm). There's only like 3-4 screws you need to remove in order to get the pin out. Since it was used for AF (if I'm not mistaken), removing the pin will have absolutely no affect on the lens' operation.

It should be safe if it doesn't have a P setting on the aperture ring. If it were labelled Rikenon P it would be suspect.
