Default OK so not strictly taken with a pentax....

but i was skiing and at the top of a mountain so only had my iphone with me - some nice shots on a beautiful day on the mountain - great day had by all =)

and here is my sister

both taken at the same time so the dramatic lighting in the first is simply due to shooting into the sun - but did look gorgeous even if wasn't quite as dark ad it looks here

I'm confused ..... iPhones are not made by Pentax ?!

The top of the mountain before you start your descent is always the best ...... we used to live in Austria and skied regularly, I always stood there to take it all in and breath in the cold pristine air before starting my run.

Where were these taken ?

yup i know not pentax but i figured was some nice shots and would share - would have loved to have my camera with me but not really practical to take dslr with you when skiing and figured no one would mind to much

photo was taken at glenshee in scotland yesterday and was impressed by the quality of the images - the dynamic range of the iphone is pretty damn impressive i think

...but it should qualify anyway, the sensor in the iphone (atleast iphone 4) is a backlighten sony made sensor, and Pentax sensors are made by sony right? so there you have it....there IS a connection

I guess we can accept that excuse just this once!

Really nice photos - it is amazing how much dynamic range that little camera/sensor has!

that was my thought - dynamic range obliterates my k7 lol - thankfully k5 should counter that imbalance - but trying to sort it out since there is a QC issue with k5 and dust under the AA filter so trying to find a supplier that will test the camera before shipping it to me =/
