Default White Gold !

Ha ha - after all the lovely weather we have been having a cold front blowing down from Siberia has frozen the country !

We had our office Xmas dinner this evening and this was the scene that greeted us when we got home ! -4C tonight !! Thank goodness the forecast is 18C by Sunday !

It is night time here, this was taken with the Sigma 10-20 on a 30 sec exposure, F11, ISO 400.

Magnificent shot, wouldn't have any idea where to place that building on the world map.

Cheers

Nice shot, Kev.
We haven't gotten any snow but, it sure has been cold the past few days!

In case anyone wants more snow, I'll be happy to share some of ours. We have about 10 inches on the ground, and another storm is likely to hit us over the weekend. But our snow totals pale in comparison with the midwestern US, which recently got much more snow than we did.

Thanks John - it should be warmer by the weekend, even the dog wants to come in now (yes, we let her when the temperature drops)

NO - don't need any more snow thanks Mtnman !!

Wow. Nice shot. But do you say that your temp varies between -4 to +18 in a clouple of days. Way. We have around 20cm now and we have a real storm here now with loads of snow.

I can send it towards shanghai if you want

Kevin, I like seeing snow, especially at someone else's house.

I'm with Lou. Snow is pretty, as long as at someone's elses. You have about as much as we've seen so far this year. We were supposed to get maybe 10" Sunday into Monday, but now they say it will bypass us.

Your photo is lovely. Nice for a night shot.

Thanks but no thanks guys n gals - you can keep your snow (even though it looks gorgeous) ! It is such a rare event in Shanghai that I had to take a shot of it.

Thank you Patty !
