great shots tried to get a woodpecker the other day with my sigma but little blighter spotted me

the donut bokeh is abit distracting in the first and second one though but great job on the focus though you must have very sharp eyes to get focus that accurate with aps-c viewfinder

As I said in the other thread - the bokeh ("the worms") might kill the fun - but the main object is wonderful sharp/detailed.

I. Am. Jealous.

Thanks for sharing,
Th.

Hand-held at 600 mm? Wow, you must have very steady hands. I'm really impressed Dawg. I thought cat lenses were soft, but yours seems to be very sharp.

They are not soft but the DOF is very thin. Most folks do not get the focus dead on so the photo appears soft from poor focus.

thank you Kashka. The K7 seems to do a better job with the reds and yellows than my K10D. Gives better detail there with out smudging out.
