Default Proper colour of snow???

Hi again. Wasn't to happy with the colour of one of yesterday's photos, so I spent some time going over the photo again. How does this look for colour of snow... yesterday's snow just didn't look so white and pristine... this is the best I can do for now.

Looks too blue/pink to me. When the sun's quite low the snow gets a natural cast to it anyway so I wouldn't expect it to be brilliant white like it would be at midday.

Looks a bit blue to me as well Ned. It seems to be a tough shot since you are also shooting into the sun.

Yep, too blue for me, too. Image Analyzer's auto color correction in RGB split planes mode gives this result. If you take the sunlight and it's color into account, this might be a step into the right direction. But snow color is always hard...

Th.

Hi guys! Really, thanks for your kind and honest input. Appreciate it. Learn more by someone giving some critique rather than saying nothing. Anyway, I tried it again, looking out my window to guide me. Obviously, there is a blue tint... only thing is, it should be what it is, just natural... And, yes, it complicates things facing the sun, but here is a before and after. Hope I am moving in the right direction.

Looking at it again... there is something still wrong here, as I lost the sunset colours behind the middle trees... Well, back to the drawing board. Thanks for your input.
