Default Merry Christmas

Or what ever you celebrate. I will be busy with family down from Virginia and Denver so I am posting this today. Some photos from around our home. First two images are HDR.

The sharpness and isolation in #3 is great - I immediately went back to check on the lense - then understood !

My favourite is easily #1 though. It looks like an illustration from a child's book. Wonderful.
The only thing that I find irritating and my eyes keep getting drawn back to - is the misaligned mirror on the left ! Sad aren't I.

I agree with Frogfish, that lens really works well at enhancing your image.

Happy Holidays, hope everyone is having at least as much fun as I am.

The mirror is not misaligned, the ash wood boards are angled at the pitch of the vaulted ceiling.

I like #1 best - although the HDR effect is too strong to my mind.

Merry Christmas and thanks for sharing these!

I like the tree ones, but the snowmen put a smile on my face

I, too, noticed the crooked mirror. So, if the planks are angled to the ceiling, they are shorter at the bottom? I think I would feel out of kilter like that all the time.

Hope you enjoy your company and have a wonderful time. It's going to be quiet around here. All the family is either out of state, sick or visiting other family. So, my husband and I will have a nice quiet day just the two of us.
