Lovely shot .. but I'm not too sure about the silver vignetting intruding on her chest.

Hm,
call me a nagger, but I don't like the postprocessing on that one. Maybe it's a forum thingie, but there is heavy grain where there shouldn't be any. I find that most distracting on her white blouse and the top of her head. If that was an intended effect... well, then I don't like it either.

I would also like to see the right strand of hair in focus, maybe extend DOF at least to half of her right shoulder?

The lighting is good here, skin color, lips, and especially the eyes look good to me, although with the special softness which I know you like best in such images. On a second thought... the skin is on the edge to "rosy" on my TFT monitor.

Having said all that... the best portraits I did where available light "lucky shots" - you know - I was just at the right time at the place... So don't get me wrong with me grumbling here - no offense meant, just my honest opinion.

Regards,
Th.

I have to agree with the above about the effect of the surround. It might work if it was softer and more graduated. (??) On my monitor the shin color looks good.

Thanks fellows, I appreciate the opinions. I did fix one of the original issues but probably need to move the vignette completely out to the edge and work on it a bit more.
