Default Christmas Evening Campfire.

I've been collecting yard clippings and fallen limbs from wind storms, all year so, last night we invited some friends over for a cook out dinner and a campfire. here are a couple shots.

A close up with the Tamron SP28-80mm

Some sparks at long exposure...

Hope you enjoyed.

Thank you very much, Th.
That one is my favorite too. The fire had died down enough to allow me to move in a little closer and with the zoom at 80mm I was pretty happy with the outcome.
And yes, we had a ton of fun and good food too!

Hey GW... how's the weather in Winter Haven? There's a blizzard going on here in New Jersey right now!

For some reason I've always loved staring into a campfire. These are fun shots, well done!

It's lovely right now in the city of lights and glitz. Looked like it snowed at the house last night, but not here. Tomorrow we head home again, wonder if I'll have to break out the shovel or will the snow be melted by the time we get home?

Great shots GW. Looks very peaceful. I know what Harriet is talking about -- there's something almost hypnotizing about gazing into a campfire.

In my area the snow has just barely started -- it began about a half hour ago. They're saying we'll get between one and two feet before it's over!

Hey GW, send some of that heat up here. We are having a blizzard with wind gusts to 50MPH and about a foot+ of snow so far and several more hours to go before it ends.

Great shots, # 3 is awesome!!
