Hi Dawg,

Looks like you're having too much fun with that lens --gotta be a whole different ballgame from lugging the Bigma around.

Does the Solid Cat have that much contrast normally? My Tamron Cat is a bit flat.

Several things going on here. One I use a lens shade...not real deep but it does the job. Next I shoot from the shade of my front porch with the sun at 90 degrees and not falling on the front of the lens. Next I have the camera set to Vivid mode. This ups the contrast, sharpness and saturation a bit thus the better contrast photos. Also I do not use the small filters that the "Ones Who Know" say you must use with this lens. Seems to work so I guess by dumb luck I hit on a winning formula for it. Who Knew?LOL
