I'm like you, Patty - I've always loved the beginning of the grade, with it's undulating terrain and green grass (when it is green). Add the cows and it's something special.

mtnman - I was actually quite happy with the K20, and was somewhat sad to sell it. But it's got a good new home, and I still have both the K100 and K7.

kashka - The Rockies are a bit far for a day trip, aren't they (giggle, giggle, I know, I've driven Hwy 16 from Winnipeg to the middle of B.C.). There's still beauty in the plains, all that fabulous farm land and all.
