Default a bit late

these are some snaps i took Christmas day after my kids left and i was a bit bored

the beach is quite popular, Sorrento beach


Hillarys


the shops were a bit quiet though

this is normally a bustling tourist district

Love the pictures. But you'll never have a chance for a white Christmas (not that we get them, but there's always the chance we could have one). I guess the whole world has Irving Berlin to thank for the association of Christmas and snow.

hnikesch it is summer here, so when you are having nice weather in summer we will have winter
John P you are not alone in thinking that and some expats from places like the UK have Christmas in July, who wants to cook roasts and stuff when its high in the high 30's C
mntgal you are right, no chance in summer, unless you count white sand
oddly enough you can buy Christmas cards over here with snowy winter scenes, so Irvine is hard to shake off even down here
Rodney, ever thought of a holiday swap with someone that wants a tropical Christmas

Really like that first scene as I look out the window at all the snow. Although, today it's raining on top of it.
