Just a reminder that tomorrow is the 31st.

I've made a few attempts in the last week, but it's been hard. Lou and I have a request. Will someone who wins the monthly challenge in a warmer month please redo this as the challenge. Between snow and cold I haven't been going out a whole lot with my camera.

Looks like we have some really good shots again this month.

Patty

LOL! I know what you mean, this has been a great topic, and a challenging one, but its easier at least freezing and preferably above freezing temperatures. Below that and it's not as fun. Though with the full moon earlier in the month, I think a shot of snow, with maybe one building lit in the frame and the moon in the corner (or the light coming from it) might have been a really good shot. I may have to try that next month - we are more likely to have snow in February.

I will kick off the voting. Nice entries and hard to chose once again.

I loved Kevin's view of Shanghai but have to give my vote to pboerger as the subject is so neat and a special moment in time was captured so well for this challenge.

Mutual admiration. My vote goes to Keltech's ski park. A lovely shot that was tough to get.

The Blue Hour where I am has been pretty much the Grey Hour! I too wouldn't mind a second try at this at a later date.

My choice is Monza76's entry. There's a bit of mystery in it as to where the two people are heading. The snow covered terrain in the background certainly conveys coldness and emptiness.

Regards

All are great photos and an interesting subject. I also like Monza76's entry.

some great photos (as usual !) i couldn't enter this month because of no great scenery at all...bad weather and bad timings didn't make it this month,...but that doesn't stop me from voting
My vote goes to pboerger for his outstanding image i really like the scenery and it fits nice in the challenge!
i would like to add that I like Daz's image it is very nice to look at, this is something I would frame however, too bad that there are a lot of black in the bottom left..! Looking forward to this months challenge!

Some great entries this month. I decided my vote should go to the entry that best adhered to the 'Blue' part of Blue Hour so although Lou's and Ira's shots were really beautiful the best 'Blue' images were those of Daz & Thkn777.

Both have black intrusions coming from the lower left but I thought Daz's could easily be trimmed off and maybe even enhance the shot if it was made into a panoramic. So Daz gets my vote !

Several really nice colorful ones this month, but I'll vote for Pboerger's eerie "spaceship" - I have seen lenticular clouds before, but never a "double-decker" like that (if that is actually what it is). Really a rare meteorological phenomenon and a spectacular capture. A textbook photograph if there ever was one.
