PS - Thanks again to Patty for reminding us to go looking for the blue hour![/QUOTE]

Actually, Lou is the one that suggested the idea to me. I had never heard of it before myself.

Well, the voting is over. Lots of wonderful images this month. And, I'm serious about us doing this again when our weather up in New England is more cooperative for this type of shot. Well, it's not the shot, but the comfort of the photographer.

Anyway, enough rambling and on to the drum roll......... and the winner for the January 2011 challenge......... is pboeger.

Congratulations! We look forward to what you come up with for February.

My goodness. I'm honored. The honor is as much the beautiful place I live in as mine. I propose for this month "Creative Self Portraits." Who you are, what you do, your interests or whatever else you can come up with that is you, taken by you, hand held, tripod or ???. It doesn't have to show your face, but it can. I have quite a few ideas I want to try. Again, thanks for the votes and good shooting.

My congratulations! As I already said, this is a shot with a strong "Independence Day" (the movie) feeling to me.

As for the new topic... this is a hard one I'd say... at least for me. Let's see if I can come up with something decent...

Th.
