LOL! Since you saw it back at Christmas when you were home, I don't suppose it was a complete shock to see it. And there's always tomorrow when you can snap a picture, when it comes up for a couple of minutes again.

Tomorrow is the Sunrise Festival, hopefully my batteries can take the -20C temperatures long enough to get some shots.

Ya!!Ya!! Sunrise festival followed immediately by sunset festival. According to what I see in the sunrise sunset calculations for Tuktoyaktuk, NT this will be a short festival as sunrise is at 13:19 and sunset is at 14.45. I think a fast shutter speed will be necessary to record the event. LOL

Guess you can use sports-shooting practices to capture the moment. Looking forward to some shots - if you have some of those extra batteries with you, you should have enough for the festival.

I will use a high shutter speed to freeze the motion.
