Default Saturday Drive

Been away for a long time. Just got a K5 and a few lens. First time out with the new camera. I'm going to enjoy the camera and being back in this community.

Thanks for looking

Yep, that first one is awesome! The last one is really nice, too. K5 is a lovely camera, you'll have a great time with it. What lenses did you get?

Those must have been some damn good Nikon lenses you sold to get that lot !

I really like #2 - but am surprised at the noise in the shot ?

Thanks Frogfish -- yeah it is pretty much straight out of the camera and I shot it with the 100wr (only lens I had with me). It was just about dark no tripod and shot at 6400 ISO.

Fine and varied photos - great angles in the first (river/creek scene), wonderful color in the rosy dawn, and great textures on the Rhododendron bud. Looks like that new camera is in some talented hands!
