Default Snow boat

Couldn't resist this one:

BTW just ordered a DA 18-55mm AL WR. As you can see in this image vignetting is an issue with my olf first series 18-55 and I really like the build of my new 50-200mm WR so I need (okay so it is LBA) the matching normal lens. At less than $160 delivered it was an easy choice.

That boat could be better used here in Florida. Looking forward to photos with the new lens!

Oh, I can hear the wood splintering from here as the Ice crushes in.

I think you will like the 18-55 WR. I haven't yet taken more pictures than my original test shots but I was pleased with those.

Boat? That's a boat? At least it's still visible. I once emailed my boss a picture of the Jeep completely covered with snow, all you could see was the bump in the snow (I asked him to see if he could find my car in the picture). At least you can still see a bit of the boat, it's not completely lost in the ice and snow.

Vignetting or not, that's one cool image (no pun intended)! I need to get my hands on one of those WR 18-55mm...

So, that's what they call a boat up in your neck of the country?
Doesn't look to practical.

The WR 18-55mm is based on the second series optics so it shouldn't vignette nearly as much as this old first series lens does. I will probably keep this lens just because it does vignette, that can make for cool shots at times.

Vignetting does seem to add a special touch to the photo!
Glad it's not my boat...
