Default Pseudo HDR lighthouse

I took this shot a while back while visiting Lake Michigan and just thought I'd try to have some fun with it usung reDynaMix. Doesn't look like it would hold up well to being large sized, but it does look kinda cool to me.

Interesting image. I like the composition a lot. There's something in the lighting, or color range, or something, that looks a bit artificial to me. But that's coming from someone who has never done and HDR image, so take that for whatever it's worth (not much).

I, too, like the composition. This isn't the type of processing that I'm crazy about, just my personal taste (too over-the-top for me, I prefer my pictures to look more natural). I wonder if it would work well as a selective desaturated, leaving the lighthouse (toned down a bit) in red with the rest of the scene in b&w? There's not all that much color in the rest of the picture anyway.

I like it Eddie - the cool blue, bright red and everything else grey. I think Harriet's idea would work well too.

A really fine composition - great sky and wonderful lines. Harriet's idea sounds very interesting - hope you'll try it and show us the results!
