Yeah, my Pentax was in the trunk and hubby wasn't stopping for anything. So, had to use the Xatnep. Thanks for allowing it.

My entry. My first grandchild playing shoulders ride at the mirror with his grandpa.

Used a single light source with a mirror and then reversed the image in Gimp. DL with the kit lens in auto focus.

Great lighting plan. It really worked.

This has to be one of the least popular challenges ever with only six entries. Voting starts Monday, so get your shot in.

I've been trying to decide whether I should go outside and take a new picture or post one I took in January at Death Valley. I'd rather post something new but the idea of going outside is chilling...

I braved the chill. Here's my entry, taken a few minutes ago.

A little background: I grew up in SoCal well below where it snows. Both of my parents had grown up in the eastern US and had no intention of going anywhere there was snow. So the first time I ever saw snow close-up was on a school ski trip in high school. The first time I ever saw snow falling from the sky I was in college. So I didn't know anything about "snow angels" until I was an adult, and have never actually tried to make one, ever.

In the beginning of the thread, Patty posted how her idea was to make one, but that her health wasn't good enough to try. So this picture is for Patty - my first ever attempt at making a snow angel. I think I did it (more or less) correctly.

An excellent snow angel. and I've seen lots of them where I live. Your angel was wearing boots... some of ours go barefoot. :-)

The snow angel gave me the idea to enter a photo taken last weekend. It's my version of the snow angel. We went camping last weekend, and the snow was very deep. Although I used the shovel in the photo to sculpt the major portion of my "snow angel", body heat during the night provided the finishing touches to the sculpture..... more easily seen underneath the sleeping bag.

Barefoot in the snow?! No thank you. Much prefer boots in snow, keeps the feet dry.

Your campsite picture was somewhat along my original idea (though not a camping one). I was going to put together some items that say "Harriet". I did that once several years ago (my hiking hat, a monopod/walking stick, camera and camera bag along a trail). But I didn't quite get around to it - still lifes are not my thing at all.
