A little background: I grew up in SoCal well below where it snows. Both of my parents had grown up in the eastern US and had no intention of going anywhere there was snow. So the first time I ever saw snow close-up was on a school ski trip in high school. The first time I ever saw snow falling from the sky I was in college. So I didn't know anything about "snow angels" until I was an adult, and have never actually tried to make one, ever.

In the beginning of the thread, Patty posted how her idea was to make one, but that her health wasn't good enough to try. So this picture is for Patty - my first ever attempt at making a snow angel. I think I did it (more or less) correctly.
It looks great to me. I'm the same way. Didn't know what a snow angel was until we moved here when in my 30's.

Hey everyone! I've been busy at work, as it seems a few others have been from some of the posts I've seen, but I thought I'd have some fun with this great challenge topic, and ... my new fisheye lens. <grin> Take care, Glen

Technically I think Glen's is a great shot and I like it a lot - however my vote goes to Cybertron because not only does it fulfill the criteria but it's fun and made me smile !

This is going to be a hard month. Both Glens entered awesome pictures (love the lighting in Lyrics51's picture) and all entries are too good to single out a second best - there's something I love about all of them. I'm going to vote for CyberTron. I love the creativity of the shot, the family he so obviously treasures and that it shows more than just the person, it shows his life, too.
