Default Been a while since my last post.

Been a while since my last post, my only apologie is that I had to much work.

So a short update my K-5 has been replaced (almost a month ago), and works as good as the first one but then without the stains.

Got the chance to get a tamron 17-50 f2.8 for 289€ what is cheep in my area, and that has already become the lens that I always carry with me.
(as a sidenote, it's one of my best lenses I have).

Some shots with this lens.

Jelly Ear #1

50mm : f/8.0 : 0.300 s (1/3): ISO: 400 : +1.00 EV

Jelly Ear #2

17.01mm : f/8.0 : 0.300 s (1/3) : ISO400 : +1.00 EV

Unknown (looks a lot like a coral fungus)

50mm : f/11.0 : 0.250 s (1/4) : ISO equiv: 100
focus blend of 2 images in cs5

golden jelly fungus

50mm : f/6.7 : 0.033 s (1/30) : ISO equiv: 200

thanks for watching, and any c&c is always welcome

Cheers

Ronny

What, work dares to interfere with your photography?! Horrors! Very nice pictures! Looks like both lens and camera are doing well. Glad to hear that the new camera has worked out, always scary when you get something that's defective.

Welcome back. Great shots with your new K5 and Tamron 17-50.

I'd love to get a K5 (and may do so) to go with my Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 lens.

Hi Ronny,

Welcome back!

I was very recently thinking about you and wondering whether Pentax had resolved your sensor stain problem. I'm glad to hear that they have finally taken care of it.

Congrats on both getting a good K-5 and what sounds like a great deal on the Tamron. These sound like good motivation to go out and take some photos!

Scott

Thanks Harriet,

the horror of work interfering with my photography is that photography is my escape from work.

Thanks Scott, the store where I got my K-5 now is in communication with Pentax to try to get the cash back that was offered till the end of January.

I couldn't send anything in before that time because the camera was off for replacement.

The story already payed half of the cash-back (as a special promotion) and have promised the full cash-back coming from Pentax also. (if they can get it)

I'm sure I'm not going to changes store soon. They (studio73) are great.

Really don't need extra motivation to get out with the camera, only a lot more time, but I guess everyone needs more time.
