Default 13th club

I was out on the golf course with my 13th club (K2000). I missed a few holes to get some shots but that was my choice. 1st hole I found this large Sand Crane, a few holes later a Wood Stork and a Great Egret, About the 10 was a I believe a Red shouldered hawk.

Later in the day closer to sun set I found some ducks, a hawk, and a Sand Crane with about a 6' wing span flying down the fairway

Default Gbh

At the 18 hole were several GBHs nesting, This was one coming in for some afternoon delight, I skipped those shots they were below the branches. I had to do some cropping as the 300 was to short.

What a wonderful golf game! I love the GBH, they are so elegant, like the egret. The Wood Stork is an odd-looking bird to me, I don't think I've ever seen one.

Wow - I wish I had a course with all those birds on it around here - I might not have given up golf if I had !

Some excellent shots in there Hans, however I love raptors so the first Hawk shot wins it for me.

For years I tried to learn the game of golf. Who would have guessed it's so difficult to hit a ball that's sitting perfectly still? But just like Frogfish, I probably would have stuck with the game if I'd seen such remarkable wildlife when I played. It would have made all that aggravation worthwhile.

Thanks all, If I were any good at golf I wouldn't be using my 13 club so often. Still hoping for some gater shots, more ducks and a Bald Eagle before going back to Michigan

That golf course is quite the birding spot! Really nice job on all of these - especially nice light on the GBH, and great use of background with the stork.
