Default Found the Bald Eagle

On a different golf course today and found a young Bald Eagle on top of a tree, To bad I couldn't stay a while, one of the problems with golf wildlife photos, the game must move on. The courses in Florida are a great place for birds to fish.

So cool! I wonder how many of your fellow golfers realized that youngster was even there?

Beautiful bird - I really wish we had them around here. You have some wonderful wildlife as neighbours over there.

Harriet - how can you tell it's a youngster ? What to look for ?

Sorry the bird would have won out over the game...can always play another day, might not see a bald eagle again. I have seen one in my life so far, wild that is.

Thanks All for the comments ~ The nice thing about shooting on a golf course is the birds are used to being ignored by people. I have even got the other guys in the group spotting for me now.

Harriet ~ I think you are correct most do not even see any of the wildlife except the Gaters, they are kind of hard to ignore.

Frogfish ~ The bird is young because the white head is not fully developed.

lisalonewolf ~ I would have stayed a while but the next group can't T-off until I leave the area.

Still looking for a good Gater shot and maybe an Osprey, saw one the other day striking a pond and coming away carrying a fish but it was to far away for a shot.

I'am going to miss all this when I get back to Michigan, only a few dear in the course.

Hans,

This is so Awesome, so Beautiful, so Majestic and just starting his life…..

Great pictures, it is a Joy just to look at, and see the details, like the sharp claws and Beak, perfect hunting and flying machine.

Congratulation on these series.
