A wonderful photo opportunity! The kids are sure cute, and the rest are full of bright colors. Well done!

Thanks both!

To be honest it was a really fun day, it was more like a party that a rally/protest and being a 6'2" foreigner with an SLR quite a few people thought I was a CNN reporter so were happy to have their photo taken. Some however literally ran screaming and a guy behind me mentioned that those people lived in a Hezbollah area and if their photo was shown on TV or in the papers then they fear they would be killed (the rally was pro government/anti Hezbollah) which kind of brought home the seriousness of it after the initial elation of seeing tens of thousands of people partying in the square.

Wonderful captures of the action, the color, and the people!
And such dramatic stories behind the photos...
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Mole!

Have some more images and video's, but need more time (and a faster internet connection) to go through those.
