Default Black Swan Family

Really cute cygnets !

Taken in January I think - pretty early for a family, middle of Winter.

Great photos, the adults are beautiful. The young ones must go through radical changes while growing. That is a bird I have never photographed.

Those babies are so cute. You'd never guess they will grow up to look so elegant, would you? Very nice pictures.

By the way, what lens did you use, if I may ask? Ned

Thank you Ed. I've seen them earlier this month and the changes are immense - they have already grown to more than 50% of the size of their parents.

Thank you Ned - I hadn't yet bought my DA*300 at the time of this shoot so these were all taken with the 55-300 I believe.

Thank you for kind comments Michael, Harriet, Mole & Hans !
