Default More No Signs of Spring

We are in our 12th straight day of snow. Went skiing and got a few pictures. Spring skiing usually offers blue skies and shirt sleeves. This ain't it. Snow went from hard to light and back and forth. Visibility came and went. Number 1, up the lift into the unknown. Number 2, top of the lift the ghostly and beautiful trees start to appear. Number 3, looking down a run with a skier in the distance. Number 4, taken from the lift a powder skier heads into the trees. Number 5, taken from the lift a powder skier heads down as the snow falls. Km, Sigma 28-105.

Very cool shots! At least you've got powder - we have heavy, wet snow that's packed the roads, broke the HOA plow, broke trees and downed power lines. Arrived home to no power and almost 3 feet of packed snow in the driveway, things are a mess. Sighed and headed for another night in a hotel.

I really like #1 - there is a mystique to it. Hard to believe we've already had a 20C day and another coming this next weekend whilst parts of California look like that !

That is some serious snow!! Glad you are still able to get out & enjoy it, and to share such fine photos. Really nice mood in #3, and great trees in #2!

Thanks for your replies. We just keep the wood burning stove going 24/7 and the shovels moving in the driveway. As skiers, we try to "Think Snow." FYI, be careful what you ask for.
