I have never seen a Cattle Egret, Interesting looking bird, Nice sharp shots Ed. Looks like the K5 is working well for you. I am already missing Florida.

Inteersting color contrast on that Egret. Am normally expecting to see an all white bird. Nice and sharp results from that Sigma.

I've never seen a Cattle Egret, either. Just Greats and Snowys. Great photos.

Actually, I've really been enjoying all of the threads with your photos.

Cattle Egrets are usually all white. The touch of brown and the color around eyes ans bill are breeding plumage.

The 150-500 HSM looks to be working extremely well for you. The stick in mid-air is a great capture.
