BlueSky - so glad you found this series - it seemed to have gotten lost in the multitude of great photos here. Thanks for all your kind and specific comments!

Excellent thread, as usual.

The third Cinnamon Fern is the best, as it shows details of both the frond and the sporangia to the best advantage.

GW - Thanks so much! You'll have to add Virgin Falls State Natural Area to your list for your next Tennessee visit!

Rodney - so glad you enjoyed these!

Penolta - Thanks so much for the feedback on the Cinnamon Ferns - very helpful!

I'm late chiming in, but I must agree with all previous comments. these are beautiful. As usual, I am especially taken with the waterfall photos. I love the silky, almost dreamlike, quality that you consistently get with your slow shutter speed waterfall photos.

mole, more and more I'm being convinced to someday make the Tennessee state parks a destination for a vacation... Always love to see your waterfall pictures. Great series.

MtnMan - Thanks so much for your very kind words!

Mike - Glad you enjoyed these, and hope you will contact me when you decide to visit Tennessee. Note that Virgin Falls is in a State Natural Area (hiking and exploring encouraged, but only primitive, back-country camping available). However, it is very close to Fall Creek Falls State Park, which has plenty of campsites, cabins & even a hotel!
