Default Not much motion blur to speak of

I am very satisfied with this photo... maybe not the most striking photo for composition, but what I am happy about is that this was taken with a telephoto lens on a moving boat. I thought there would be more blur.

1/400 was the shutter speed... but I was in a small boat that really was moving about... I think the f-stop was 9. I was worried there would be some blur... but I am happy with photo.

Wow, that is an amazing photo! Well done, very steady hands!! I have to ask a stupid question- what is it a picture of? The many flags make me think it could be an embassy of some sort, but maybe not?

That is an amazing picture. I'm with Ira - I have trouble with my shooting technique so I'm really impressed.

Hi all!! And, thanks for your comments. I should have mentioned that is a photo of the grand hotel (the one with all the flags) in the left, taken in Stockholm, Sweden last weekend. My wife and I were taking a boat tour of the city. I seriously thought that all my photos would show motion blur. Glad you all liked it. Thanks for looking. Ned

I agree with the previous comments. This is very impressive considering it was taken hand held, with a long lens, for a moving boat. Very well done indeed!
