Default Pacific Swallows in Bintan, Indonesia

I just came back from a conference in one of the resorts in Bintan. Frankly, I wasn't expecting anything interesting there, so I only brought along my DA 60-250mm f4 for indoor shots and the AFA 1.7x for the just-in-case shots (which I wasn't expecting).

But boy O boy...how I was proven wrong. I was reminded again that even something as ordinary as the Pacific Swallow can be so interesting and beautiful...

What fun pictures! Were these taken with the AFA on the 60-250? The pictures are excellent.

Perhaps these are "ordinary" for you, but quite extra-ordinary for me! And very nicely photographed as well. And a great story in the feeding photos also...

Thanks for the encouragement. Frankly, I myself was caught off guard by the feed sequence. I just saw the swallow getting excited, and then...before I realised what happen, the mother landed with the dragonfly in her mouth.

And yes, the shots are all taken with the DA 60-250mm with AFA 1.7x, shooting at f8.
