Default Me and the Hover Flies

I have been up early in the morning when these guys are out warming themselves..so I am using them for handheld and manual focusing practice..
I need lots of practice..lol!

Fortunately, hoverflies hover, but still amazing for handheld manual focus. Quite an accomplishment.

I agree with penolta - well done! Manual focus does take practice, and occasional brush-up practice if you don't do it for a while.

Thanks for looking,all...I have to take about 60 shots before I get a keeper and do some sharpening but I enjoy sitting in my chair in the morning sun,coffee and cats at my side and trying out different settings and focusing methods..my goal is to get one without having to post process.And thankfully they do hover..lol..I have them down to about 8 seconds in one spot until the warp drive shift to another spot in the continum!
