Thank you all for your comments. I have been taking photographs of fireworks every Canada Day - July 1st, for the past 4 years. These are the best I have ever taken. I used a Pentax K-x w/ a 18 - 50 mm lens at F8 for 2 seconds, iso 200. This years display was extremely good and throughout the years have kinda figured out the timing of the flares and burst, although a lot of it still depends on luck. Here are a few more.

These are also very nice, a wonderful series. Better than the few I've managed (but then I've only shot fireworks once or twice).
