Some lovely shots in there Mole !

Can I make a suggestion re. flash (for the dragonflies) ? I take it you are using the pop-up flash on the camera ? If so then it may be worthwhile getting a little cloth diffuser that you can easily stash in any pocket (there are small retail versions you can buy or just make your own ! ) to put on the pop-up to give you a more even light and reduce the incidence of reflection from the flash. I find it works a treat !

What a great walk ..and great shots to prove it! I like them all but the fungi shots are my fave..what a diversity of plant life.Oh..and love the d-flies...great eyes....It always amazes me how some people can walk beauty like this and never even see it.

Kevin - you are correct, that is the pop-up flash. Thanks for the diffuser suggestion, will try to see if I can rig something...

Kashka - Thanks for your very kind words. Indeed it is amazing what we so often miss all around us each day. I am blessed that a significant portion of my job is the opportunity to share those commonplace discoveries...

Ed - Thanks so much! That coral fungus certainly chose an extremely lush mossy location, almost could be underwater...
