Default Filmdom...Here I come! 645 Pentax

Soon I will be joining the multitudes of those struggling with a film camera! I just bought a Pentax 645 camera to go with my medium format Zeiss lenses. Hope the powers that be here will let me post one or two when I finally get acclimated to using it!! LOL

Oooh, have fun with it. Can't think of a reason why you couldn't post any of your pictures here, do you have a good scanner? And when are you going to buy the 645D and make us ALL jealous?

I have 2 different scanners. One just for photos, slides and negatives.

Wait about 10 years till a 645D gets under $2,000 and then maybe...just maybe!!!!!

Still hanging in there and still shooting photos...When work allows it. Working 7 days a week doesn't give a lot of time for the hobby. And how are you doing? Hope the NASA layoff is not affecting you.

Looks like a great purchase Ed. I can't deny that digital photography is much more convenient than film, but there was something about the film days that I really miss. Digital is great, but there was some undefinable aesthetic quality of film photography that digital can't match. I hope you have great fun with your new camera, and I also look forward to seeing scans of your images.

Awesome purchase dawg!

Can't wait to see the results you get from it, only have an old TLR medium format, but love the results it gives, looking forward to seeing what you achieve!

Thanks my friends. I'll post some as soon as it (the camera) arrives and I can find an adapter for my Pentacon 6 lenses.
