Default Four Wheeled Monsters.

Monster Trucks at Holland Speedway yesterday. Unfortunately I couldn't avoid the wires that were hung all over the place. It was still fun.

What everyone else said! Too bad about the wires, but those are the things you can't help. They are still fun shots.

Very well done Mike. We have a monster truck rally in our town every spring and fall, and lots of people enjoy it. (And our local businesses do very well on those weekends.) I have a fairly low tolerance for noise and dust so I usually stay away, but I am very much in the minority.

There was actually two cars side by side belching the flames. And they were hot... Thanks

I was aided by a very sunny day and fast shutter. Thanks.

That's my favorite part of shooting these trucks, catching them in the air. Thanks!

I do it for my kids mostly, but I always enjoy an opportunity to capture stuff. Outdoors the noise isn't all that bad. It was worse in the Carrier Dome when we went in the winter.

Nice work. It's definitely tough to get the moving objects.

I went to watch my son run autocross up at New Hampshire Motor Speedway a few weeks ago. He was very excited for me to photograph all the cars. Has been trying to get me to go for a long time now. We were only there about 4 hours and I didn't take photos the whole time and still managed to get nearly 700 shots. (Thank goodness for digital.) Haven't processed any of them yet.

I can imagine the noise as these guys were pretty noisy themselves and while we were there others were preparing for the Nascar race the following weekend.
